   Dear Sir/Madam
   I booked a ticket in Jaffna for Katunayaka Airport to Jaffna Annai Muthumary Bus for my wife. No bus came in at Departures on 01/04/2019. However after about 9.15 they’ve claimed, the bus was there but but the passengers were not there although bus never arrived.
   My wife saw the Prince bus picking people at the same stop.
   They then called and said they came but she was not there and wanted her to come by taxi. She spoke no Sinhalese so she said she’s not able to communicate. Then we rang the guy who we booked the ticket with. He said sorry and after minutes of arguing he said he’ll pay for the taxi and arranged a taxi. However while the taxi was traveling he rang my wife back and told her to get off and get a 3wheeler. Taxi driver refused to go back to Airport.
   When she arrived to the Bus, next to a Cafe in Periyamullai, the conductor and driver together refused to take her on board, although loading the luggage, unless she paid the taxi fare but she told them ‘the guy who booked it said he’ll pay.’ She told them she did not have any Srilankan rupees but they were very rude to her and threatened to unload her luggage. She immediately got into the bus and refused to get off and, asked them to call the police. After 10.05am they finally moved the bus with her.
   However as she sat they’ve argued and said we’ve paid less than the price of a ticket and asked her for 600Rs more. Another passenger has taken a video of the whole saga inside the bus. She will pass to us when she’s home as she did not have Internet access.
   It’s a total embarrassment to my wife and humiliated her. Please write to me on svmtts@gmail.com
